Death

The Bell tolls for the Saturn SL2

The paperwork came from the state today, adn the 4 door Saturn SL2 we bought new in 2002 is heading off to "Pick Your Part" on Wednesday to be, probably, picked apart, at which point we will once again be down to a single vehicle.

What will survive is the front tires, as they are new whereas the ones on the 2-door are down to the wear bars.  Also oddly enough, the sunscreens.  They were completely dry rotted away on the '97.  The screw holes were the same as the other car, so the sunscreens from the car we have had for 12 years will live on.

And lastly, the license plates.  Like transferring the flag from a sinking warship, the JSALEM plates will also move to the surviving car.
